I shared my 7 tips for cross-functional collaboration with Medium’s Better Programming based on my experience in healthtech.
Today’s problems require people from different disciplines to build together but it’s not always easy. Let’s discuss.
PODCAST FEATURE: In this episode of The Real World in Practice, we examine racial and ethnic disparities through the lens of oncology, real-world data and health policy. Fellow guests include members of Flatiron’s Race and Ethnicity Data (RED) team: Kathleen Maignan, NP, Senior Clinical Director; Kelly Magee, NP, Senior Clinical Director; and Alex Gorstan, Director of Marketing.
SHORT COURSE DESIGN AND FACILITATION: In 2019, I managed an ISPOR short course in New Orleans and Copenhagen focused on the concepts and tools of reproducible research. I oversaw content and exercise design and facilitated group discussion. Primary instructors included Dr. Blythe Adamson, PhD, MPH; Rachael Sorg, MPH, and Josh Kraut of Flatiron Health. The need for more reproducible tools in health economics and outcomes research is growing rapidly as analyses of real world data become more frequent, involve larger datasets, and employ more complex computations.
